Anza Branch Library Renovation

The Anza Branch Library Renovation Project is part of the bond measure overwhelmingly passed Proposition D authorizing additional funding to improve the branches in November 2000.  The plan is to reduce seismic risk associated with a major earthquake, area expansion to avoid reduction of library space, improve staff and public areas, make it fully accessible and technologically updated, and modernization to meet State and Federal ADA guidelines which include but are not limited to the following:

  1. LEED Silver Certification
  2. New elevator and stairs
  3. New ADA building access
  4. New accessible restrooms
  5. New drinking fountains
  6. New interior furnishings and equipment
