San Bruno Grade Separation Program
The San Bruno Grade Separation Program contract involves raising the railroad in a retained embankment and lowering roadways crossing the Caltrain right-of-way from just south of the I-380 flyover to approximately San Felipe Road in San Bruno. At-grade vehicular crossings will be eliminated at San Bruno Avenue, San Mateo Avenue, and Angus Avenues. The existing San Bruno Caltrain station will be relocated onto an elevated structure at San Bruno and San Mateo Avenues. The construction estimate is approximately $90,000,000.
CPM provides construction management services to oversee the construction phases of the Construction Program.
The Jerrold Bridge Replacement Contract is the replacement of the existing intermediate three-spans with a single span steel fabricated bridge, including the installation of two jump-spans to conform to the present bridge layout; reconstruction of tracks impacted by the new structures; and reconstruction of the traveled way and sidewalks. The construction estimate is approximately $10,000,000.
The San Mateo Bridges Seismic Retrofit Contract involves seismic retrofit of foundations/abutments of four Caltrain bridges located at Poplar Avenue, Santa Inez Avenue, Monte Diablo Avenue, and Tilton Avenue in San Mateo. The construction estimate is approximately $4,000,000.
South San Francisco Station Parking Lot Project
This project comprises of a re-grade and re-pave of portions of parking lot, drainage installation, and lighting improvements. The construction estimate is approximately $800,000. CPM provides construction management and project control services on this project, including cost estimating and schedule analysis for Contractor potential claims, and recommending or rejecting entitlement and settlement offers to resolve the claims. This project is relevant in that it illustrates CPM's construction scheduling support and claims analysis experience, and exhibits our familiarity with working with bridges.
